Standing on their own

One of my favorite designs is the hand-tied bouquet.  The best part….they are not just for weddings!  I love to buy some flowers from the local market and whip up a hand-tied bouquet.  They can be plopped into a vase or left standing in a low dish of water to sit on your table.  A true hand-tied bouquet can stand on its own, figuratively and literally.  The trick in achieving this feat is the way you add the stems to the bouquet, while holding it one hand, making sure you are placing the stems together in a whirled position and not crossing stems over top of one another.  Give it a try and let me know how it works out for you!  xo
