Spending the day with Treasured Blossoms

I was thrilled to spend a beautiful day designing with the lovely ladies of Treasured Blossoms this past Saturday.  It was definitely a beautiful day to make someone’s day beautiful.  The flowers and decor for this wedding were classic and timeless. The setting was romantic, which I am certain led to a magical wedding.

The backdrop for the ceremony was a gorgeous stone and iron archway, framing the  Texas Hill Country in the background.  Brooke, of Treasured Blossoms, and I spent the afternoon decorating that arch with greens, hydrangea, roses, carnations, and babies breath.  We were working on some shaky scaffolding, which gave us some good laughs and brief scares. (side note: it also made for a great core workout!) In the end, the arch turned out beautifully.   The aisle was lined with hydrangea balls hanging from velvet ribbon on the chairs, which really finished the look.

The reception took place inside a beautiful stone building, which felt a lot like being in the Italian countryside.  There was a covered patio overlooking the ceremony area and hillside, that was used for cocktails after the ceremony.  Decorated with vintage furniture, with lights strung overhead, the setting had a very romantic feel.  The flower colors were a very pale pink, cream, and white against a navy blue and gold accent pieces.  Garden roses, baby’s breath and hydrangea in vintage gold vases were my favorite accent pieces. The overall look was very vintage, classic, and romantic.

I have helped Treasured Blossoms with weddings in the past, and I have to say, Brooke and Patti are my favorite floral designers, and I feel lucky to be able to work with them on weddings and event florals.  This dynamic, mother-daughter duo, have a natural eye for design.  I am always impressed with their style, design, and technique.  Their designs are innovative, yet classic. Their professionalism is top-notch, yet we always seem to be laughing and having fun while working.  Brooke has a deep passion for design, which shows in her work and is a testament to the idea that if you do what you love, you will do it well.  She clearly loves floral design!

Thank you, Patti and Brooke, for letting me help design for this beautiful event!!!
